The DOT manual contact colony counter allows colony counting using a felt-tip marker or a steel-tipped pen which allows counting directly on the agar medium. With each touch the equipment beeps, marks the plate and increases the count on the display.
The DOT counter includes a 120 mm diameter magnifying glass (glass, biconvex, diopter and 2x DIN magnification) and lighting. In turn, the display allows counting up to 9999 and is 9 mm high.
